What if my tooth has been knocked out?

Holding the clean tooth by the crown, gently put it back into the hole in the gum (socket). If you can’t put it back in, put it in milk or saliva – by spitting into a container (if it’s your tooth) or having your child spit into a container (if it’s theirs). It’s important to see a dentist as soon as possible!
