Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Eligible children aged 0 to 17 may be able to access Medicare-funded basic dental care, including check-ups, cleans, fillings and extractions, up to a capped amount over two years.
We bulk bill CDBS treatment for eligible children, so there is no out-of-pocket cost for covered services. Check your child’s eligibility and balance in your Medicare online account, or call us with your Medicare card handy and we will check for you.

How much will my health fund pay?
It depends on your fund, your level of extras cover and any annual limits. Ask us for the item numbers on your quote and your fund can tell you your rebate.
Do I need to pay the full amount first?
No. With HICAPS we claim your rebate at the appointment and you only pay the gap.
Can I get a quote before treatment?
Yes. For anything beyond a routine visit, we give you a written, itemised quote before starting.
How do I apply for a payment plan?
Ask our front desk team about National Dental Plan by humm or Afterpay. Applications are quick, and approval criteria and fees apply. We can talk you through how it works before treatment.
Is my child’s treatment bulk billed?
If your child is eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, we bulk bill covered services, so you pay nothing for them. We can check eligibility when you book.
Do you bulk bill Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) patients?
Yes. We bulk bill eligible treatment for Department of Veterans’ Affairs card holders, including check-ups, cleans, fillings, extractions and dentures through our Elation Denture Clinic. Bring your DVA card to your appointment, and call us if you are unsure what your card covers.
